It is the fruit of Foeniculum vulgare, commonly known as fennel. fennel seeds look like cumin seeds, only greener. it is oval in shape, and once dried takes on a greenish-brown color and have an aniseed flavor and a warm, sweet aroma. It has a good source of minerals like, Calcium, Selenium, Manganese, Copper, Vitamin C, Iron, Potassium and zinc. These minerals are very helpful to balance hormones and in helping up the oxygen balance.
